I forgot the link to my blog, and obviously, just let it go as it has been over a year since my last post! I just decided today to see if I could figure out how to get back here, and it wasn't difficult at all.
A lot has happened in the last year! First grade has been going great for Andrew! He has a wonderful teacher and has grown so much. Being in PT and OT as well this year has really helped him. He has learned a lot of self control and coping mechanisms. He played basketball early this year and just loved it. It seems to be his sport of choice so far. He also just had his third and final surgery for the birthmark on his forearm. The surgery went well, and hopefully, soon he will be able to participate in regular P.E. and outside recess. We had to be rather careful to make sure the wound did not open this time.
